Inside fork tubes

Two things I need to ask.

First, I'm getting racetech spings but I have read a few people on this site say to stay away from the gold valves from racetech. Anybody know of a different valve to use? I know some of you will say to send them to DK but I want to do the work myself. (I know call me crazy)

The other ? is has anyone had a problem with the inside fork tube getting sratches on them? I have two going down the tube following the fork. The sratches are behind the guard on the finder so I know it wasn't hit buy anything. I clean my bike after every ride so I don't think it's due to dirt.

The forks seal is leaking so I thought I would change the valves and the springs when I replaced the seals...I guess I might have to replace the inside tube also.

Re: Inside fork tubes

The seal is leaking because theose scratches cut the seal. You have to polish the scratches off or get new tubes oitherwise you will be putting seals in every month.

I thought I looked on his site and didn't see them, but I guess I need my glasses bumped up. Thanks
