CBR to CBF

Well .. after 7 years of love I finally px'd the 954 for a more comfortable CBF 1000F. On the negative side it's very heavy to push out of the garage and has no ground clearance when cornering and the engine is not very responsive!
On the positive side it has a 2006 version CBR 1000 engine - but it is de-tuned to about 107bhp. Need to make this motor a bit more lively. So going to change exhaust, air filter and +2 rear sprocket - wish I could have put the 954 engine into this bike!

Re: CBR to CBF

I looked at the CBF but as you say they are a heavy bike, the power to weight is no better than my BMW F800ST

Re: CBR to CBF

My Dad has the CBF and your right! Also the lack of feel from the front end isn't for me.
Very comfortable though!
