Fork Compression adjustment question (929)

How many turns am I supposed to have from full soft to full hard? I just did my seals and after putting my forks together, went to turn the compression adjuster at the bottom of the fork. It was set at full soft for when I did the disassembly but from there, it was 5 half turns to full hard which seems a bit short. Is that normal?
