Tyre sizes (after changing gearing)

Any benefit in going off the norm 190 to 180 having just changed gearing to 15/45?

Never ran a 180, am I missing much in terms of handling?

Re: Tyre sizes (after changing gearing)

id suggest putting a 190/55. same profile as the 180/55. i put a 190/55 on my 954 and never looked back. im not saying you cant put a 180 on it, but i cant think of any advantages.

Re: Tyre sizes (after changing gearing)

If you can't speed in Ireland without risking a ticket, throw a 180 on it, you'll never sense one bit of change, the difference is so subtle unless you're really pushing the bike. The height change is a small fraction. Too much hype and drama to say more than it really is.
