which oil filter, i'm confused

i went to the dealer to buy a filter for a friends 954, they sold me a 15410-mcj-003 i thought the right one was supposed to be with the last three digits 000 like for my 929 as well??

Yeah, I think you're right. The 929 and 954 filters are the same, and that part number is 15410-MCJ-000

The MCJ is the right one. The MM( is a little taller, thats the old style filter.
