Re: 04 cbr 1krr exhaust and tail section mods

There's a place in Italy that had similar stuff for the 600RR. They may have it for the 1K, but it's pricey stuff. And they don't ship overseas if the order is under $1,000

Re: 04 cbr 1krr exhaust and tail section mods

Moriwaki makes a system for the 600RR, I would think that a system for the 1000 isn't too far behind.

perhaps I'm being dumb, but what's that little pipe on the side for???

the V5 uses 2 pipes, obviously one for each bank of cylinders, but on an I4 motor??

I reckon it is pretty if it's just there for show...

Re: 04 cbr 1krr exhaust and tail section mods

The tri colour paint looks HEAPS better inthe flesh. I agree it looks ordinary in photo's, but up close, nice.
The Moriwaki extra pipe is basically just a G.P replica system, making it look more like the 211V. I have one here, 2nd hand if anyone wants one. Just had confirmation, CBR1000RR Arata's due 10th May.

Re: 04 cbr 1krr exhaust and tail section mods

Akrapovic already has a slip on and a full system that adds 10whp to the top end!

Are they going to be doing a single muffler as well?

Re: 04 cbr 1krr exhaust and tail section mods

I am going with Arata as soon as it is available.

The stock system sounds like a lawnmower!
