CBR 1000 Reverse Shifter

New bike, not the old one. Anyone have a lead on where to get it? Appears to be unobtainium at the moment...

Re: CBR 1000 Reverse Shifter

Even the shifter looks nice!

Did you take off the sprocket cover, or isn't there one?

Sorry, no help on reverse shifter.

Re: CBR 1000 Reverse Shifter

I was gonna say, it looks like a factory HRC. Try getting some info from them. OR..............

Go to a race and when the pit crew is away from the bikes, steal it.

Re: CBR 1000 Reverse Shifter

If you are in Uk ,there are a couple available for racing . One uses a bell crank in place of the standard shift pedal and a rod runs from the crank to a rearset mounted pedal . The other runs diagonally from the gearbox -again to a rearset mounted pedal . Both these rearset kits have multi adjustable peg positions. Let me know if you can't locate them.

Re: CBR 1000 Reverse Shifter

ignition interrupt...so full throttle clutchless upshifts are possible. senses pressure on the linkage rod and for a lot less than even half a second, cuts the ignition until the shift is complete. PCIII USB will offer this for our street bikes
