How do I get the alternator rotor off the crank '01 929?

I don't have the Honda tool and have been trying to use a conventional gear puller-I've got a lot of tension on it, but it won't budge...I even tried a propane torch to expand it while puller is installed with tension! The reason I'm doing this is because I had dropped the bike and broke a small chunk out of the crank case where the side cover mounts. I had it glued in place with JB Weld, but oil eventually gets through, so I want to try to solder it in place and the rotor is in the way. If someone knows of a better oil-resistant glue I can use to get the chunk of aluminum back in place.

Hi, once you have got the flywheel bolt out, you will need a rotor tool, its actually just a bolt that will turn into where the rotor bolt has come out of, as it turns in and tightens up ,just tap the end of the bolt and that will release the flywheel, there are different types on E-bay,have a look at this one.

Or just use a impact gun with the flywheel puller that is actually a bolt. It will pop right of. I use a oil cooler bolt from a 954 since i have few spare ones of them and actually a spare stock engine disambled. It has the right threads and will do the job fine.
