Lowering 954

What options out there to lower a 02 954? Not ebay junk either. This is my first Honda. Too much Chinese junk on ebay.
Also, are the oem bar ends steel? Mine missing. Just curious

Re: Lowering 954

1. welcome. would like to see some images of your scoot.

2. a "dogbone" that is either adjustable or has more than one hole will also do. my RR2 has one, and the center setting lowered the rear ever-so-slightly and took pressure off my wrists & hands = more comfortable & longer riding you can also "turn your triangles" without even investing a dime... and that'll drop a little as well.

3. nope. plastic. heavy steel ones can cut down the bar vibration, but the paint wears off sometimes. I have wicked heavy ones on both my RR2 & RR3

non-Honda fleet: EX250JAF, VL1500LC, ZX600-E1, ZX600-E12

Hard anodized should help with that. Just find some steel ones without paint and find a local place that can do it. Show up around lunch time or at the end of the day and ask someone that works there what it would take to do them. You can also pick a color.
