Xring chain

Fitted a new DID Xring chain to my 919, noticed it has a faint high pitch whine only when accelerating or under load. Chain is adj correctly and lubed, only audible with earplugs in. Anyone else picked up anything similar?

Re: Xring chain

ive never ridden with earplugs. i know when i wear different helmets i hear different noises coming from the bike though.

id say so long as its a consistent sound and everything looks lined up youre probably good. just keep an eye on it over the next few rides.

so long as its not a zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz wreeeko wreeeko wreeko zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

thats the sound mine was making till i changed it yesterday. say, we can be new chain buddies. i put on the ek 3dz.

welcome to the site btw
