Rain, rain go away............

Bloody hell, will this shite weather ever change for the better; so far this year it's been rain, snow, rain, snow, rain, rain, and more rain................ I can't ride the Blade much because of my buggered right wrist, but come-on and if I had a god I would pray for sunshine!

Rant over!

Yep, it's just been one crap day after the next since before Christmas Ian and you can't blame it on 'Global Warming' either, not even sure if we'll get a Summer this year - was planning a ride to the Ace Cafe on Sunday, so keeping my good eye on the weather.........

It's ridiculous here in Boston. And i work at a motorcycle dealership, so it's more of a tease being around them all day every day. It's like we get a randomly nice day, everyone gets excited, takes the bikes outta winter storage, etc... then we get hit with another snow day or its below freezing out. Supposed to get a good stretch Thursday to sunday this weekend. So my cbr is finally gonna see some action! I'll wait for it to be consistent before I dust off my yzf though

So far this year I have more seat time in the garage than on any road. Looks like I'm still a month out before I dare take it out on this **** roads.

All stripped, damaged bits all replaced, just waiting for replacement bodywork to arrive.

Forecast says 23C next week so might have to buy something like a cheap 10 year old Street Triple to hoon around on now the 600 has gone.

Sat on a Street Triple yesterday expecting to love it, I'm not so sure, it's not a Blade.

Weather is brilliant next week and all I now have in the garage is one bike in pieces. I need a plan

Yep, low speed drop, stalled taking a corner and down she went , did a lot of damage.

I was very upset at the time, but I've got over it and it's all repairable. Full set of bodywork is on order, exhaust is off and being repainted, I've replaced a bent clutch lever and polished out the scratching to the indicator and mirror. I'll be back up and running for about £500, so I won't be doing that again!

I'm looking at a cheap, clean 1994 15000 mile GPZ500 tomorrow, could be just the job whilst the Blade is off the road. I just found the Street triple a bit too....modern

Did I miss it too, or did you try to keep the secret?

Either way sucky, glad you’re no-worse for wear, new parts on the way, you’ll be back in the saddle in no time.
