Ride height adjustable?

Hi. I have a 1996 CBR900RRT. The side stand that it came with was a bit short, causing the bike to lean over a lot, so I bought a used 'stock' item. This is much better but the bike seems to stand a little upright now. Do we feel that they do indeed stand up a bit or is it likely someone has lowered the ride height and if so, how is this done? BTW the forks are flush with the yokes.

Re: Ride height adjustable?

The previous owner may have swapped the original 16” front wheel for a 17. Which is a really popular mod but it does make the bike lean over a bit on the side stand. Carrying a small block of wood under the seat will do the trick.

Re: Ride height adjustable?

Ah yes. I forgot to mention that it has a 17" wheel. The stand that came with it is approx 1cm shorter and the weld looks blobbier than the replacement stand which is why I thought it may have been shortened.
