Leather seat skin

I bought a leather seat skin from JF Boot Customs in the UK (eBay) fpr about $90 shipped to the US. Nice material and good fit. Not perfect but very good for the price. Some photos. It helps if your seat foam and frame are in good shape; otherwise it will look like crap. That's the original vinyl next to it.

Re: Leather seat skin

That looks pretty good, I’m guessing also slightly grippier than the original vinyl?

That's a good look. Anyone have thought on improving the foam? The supply of new seats is getting short and it's getting about that time.

Regarding the foam, a professional upholstery shop is the only viable option unless you don’t mind it looking terrible when you’re done messing with it. A reputable shop can reform and shape the seat foam and make its density harder or softer. Pricey though.

I don’t think anyone makes the 92-97 complete seat anymore but Corbin does claim to supply the entire seat and cover for the 98-99 models. Luimoto also supplies skins for the 92-99 for $40-$150 plus shipping.
