Garage Door Opener

I haven't seen anyone do this on the first gen Fireblades so here's some photos of a good place to wire up a garage door opener. One of the photos shows where I ran the conduit. The right side switch location is handy since your left hand may be busy with the clutch. Soldering into a garage door opener remote is common and can be found on the web. This particular switch fits perfectly into this position.

Re: Garage Door Opener

happy days! I know what I'm doing next I was looking for somewhere to velcro the remote but even then it's fiddly with gloves and not water resistant. I think your idea is much better, more elegant, solution.

Re: Garage Door Opener

I keep mine in the key chain, fairly easy to operate, sometimes even when slow rolling towards the gate with my right hand.

Re: Garage Door Opener

I always leave mine on the drive to cool down before putting it away, so personally I can’t see the benefit of a remote opener.
