Re: Hyperpro came through

Can't complain about Hyperpro's customer service. I sent an email to the main email address in Holland complaining that my 2 year old (out of warranty) damper was leaking. I first purchased one in 2001 and it leaked within a month, and was replaced under warranty by Dynojet, who was the northeast distributor at the time. They had a known problem with the seals in 2001 and replaced many dampers. Well, the replacement waited 2 years to leak, but as far as I'm concerned, it was still from the bad 2001 batch. Apparently Hyperpro agreed. I got a phone call from Micron, the new northeast distributor, instructing me to return it and they would replace it with a new one, even though it was out of warranty. Woohoo! Can't beat that! I figured I'd be lucky if they agreed to rebuild it at no cost, but I had explained in my email that the downtime would be unacceptable.

Just installed the new one! In blingy purple, of course!

Re: Hyperpro came through

Glad to hear that you gotta love a company that stands behind their product. Especially since I just mounted my Hyperpro yesterday. The materials that came with it say it has a new sealing system.

Another great site to visit.

Re: Hyperpro came through

I had a similar experience, damper started leaking 1 month out of warrant, local importer said they would sell me one at half price or I pay cost price to have mine overhauled, i wrote a email to hyperpro and they made the local importer replace it free of charge

'Micron/HyperPro North America' is a great company to Deal for and be a customer of. I know Doug personally (the Marketing and Sales Director), as well as I am a Dealer for them. If anyone on the forum ever has problems getting good Customer Service or satisfaction from the shop you purchased from - feel free to contact me and I will do what it takes to ensure you receive satisfaction.

I accidentally sent my complaint email to tham by mistake and they forward it on to the correct address for me and actually replied to me with the correct details and told me they had passed it on.
