Hindle or Micron,, which one??

I am finally ready for a little louder sound, and I am NOT going to get the pc3, I am just going to get a slip on. Is this going to cause problems for me like flat spots or something? And what is the difference between those 2 pipes?
P.S. I am going to Jennings next weekend. oh yah, oh yah, oh yah
thanks

Re: Hindle or Micron,, which one??

I've got a Hindle Titanium Slip On for my 929 and love it! For the price you can't beat Hindle. The fit and finish is very good. I do believe its just a Titanium sleeve as opposed to the Akrapovic Titanium Slip On which is full Ti, even the guts and rivets, end caps are Ti from what I remember a sales guy told me. Sound wise is loud but not annoying. Its has a nice deep rumble to it.
You will also notice its way smaller than stock and doesn't stick out as much plus its oval not round like stock.

Re: Hindle or Micron,, which one??

Sorry to jack the thread, but I just had friend ask me about devil exhaust on a 954. Since I don't have either, I told him I would try to find out.

Re: Hindle or Micron,, which one??

The Micron pipe is the only BOLT ON pipe I have seen give the 954 any power at all. To my way of thinking, if you're gonna spend $500+ on a pipe, you want the one that's gonna give you power as well, even if you're just after sound. (It ain't gonna upset the bike any more or less than the other pipes).
It shouldn't cause flat spots etc, but it may. In general though, you won't notice it, just sounds better. Go the Micron.

Go with the Arata (I know it's not a slip-on but I'm dumb and if you guys pick on me I'm going to leave the board for a few weeks)

Re: Hindle or Micron,, which one??

I had a Mircon for 3yrs with no problems at all.

Finally just before I sold it the C/F started to fade on the top a little.
One of the longest lasting cans I have seen in a longtime, especially for c/f.

It looks like a stock 1000RR pipe.
