Re: Turn Signal Integrator

I'm installing a Hotbodies undertail with turn signal integrator. The instructions say cut the single brake wire that comes from the fuse box right before the end connector cap plugs into the tail lights. Looking at the fuse box there are several wires. How can you tell which wire from the fuse box is for the brake light?

Re: Turn Signal Integrator

When I installed mine, i didn't worry about all of that. I used the wires about 6' away from the actual brake light. An easy way is to just test which one is hot, and which one activates when the brake is activated. If i remember correctly you have to wire two separate wires into the 'brake' light wire coming from the integrator. I can look if you need to know more, but i removed mine a while ago. I found out they don't like LED taillights very well.

get yourself a test light, and probe the wires while apply ing the brakes, do it until you find a wire that lights up the test light, let the brake off to make sure it goes off, then apply agian to make sure it comes on again with the brake lights, that will be the wire to need.
