954 Dyno results!

Also got my bike dynoed today at Sydney Dyno, Flapper and Pair valve have been removed, 8000k on the clock, Just fitted the PC3R did a baseline with the zero map, then installed the basic european map (110-510) and did a couple of runs, Quite happy with the results: 135.7HP with zero map & 136.3HP with the 501 map Chart is in pdf format at the moment, will post it soon!

That's pretty good with a stock exhaust, mine only got 131 a few years ago.

Re: 954 Dyno results!

I got there about 12:45pm, Dave said that you had not long left when I got there, He seems like a top Bloke! Its good to have someone so knowledgable only 5 mins from home, Im going to go back for a custom map in a few weeks after I get my custom half system made which will eliminate the HTEV and will use an Akrapovic slipon, Hopefully I will be able to get high 140's as I already have a good starting point (fingers crosed). On the downside only a few minutes after leaving SD I got a little overenthusiastic to see what difference the 501 map made on the road and got done for doing a wheelie (bad I know, but was just a little after having my bike on the dyno) although the cop was pretty nice about it as he could have gotten me for speeding as well which would have sucked as it is double demerits points this weekend!

Re: 954 Dyno results!

BTW - how do ya like the 501 map? ALthough it made "less" power overall for me, I did keep the 501 map in there as I found it alot smoother. Seeing as it's almost impossible to hit even 10000rpm (1st gear) on the street in anything less than a 110 zone...

Yeah it I did notice that it was a lot smoother, and just nicer to ride although I have only done a few k's with it since my fun was curtailed! Since it was double demerits I just decided to take my bat and ball and go home!

Try the back page sof Two Wheels or AMCN - there are a few adds for solicitors in there that probably will give you your best shot at it. It would also appear they are biker friendly/bike riders, so they may try harder for a fellow rider..
