MOD test for 954 H2O temps

I installed a 120MM 12 volt fan on the right side of radiator to try and eleviate the high water temps I was encountering when I operated my bike in town.
I installed using TYWRAPS and taped an on/off switch to the left windshield support.
The fan is rated at 100 CFM.

Before ---- 210 to 215
After ---- 190 to 200
I then took her out for some high speed tests.
185 to 200 ( 60 MPH to 160 )

I will install this fan permanently and wire into the stock wiring fan control.

I will provide pics and step by step if you guys want.

FYI

Re: MOD test for 954 H2O temps

Sounds like a pretty decent reduction in running temp - good, er, rather,

I would love to see some pictures. I live in Florida where it is getting hotter every day.

I dout that I will do the permanent mod for at least a few weeks, when I do I will record the whole process with the digital cam though.

I've got a spare stock fan that I've been trying to unload for $30.00 I was planning on doing the same thing when I lived in Las Vegas aka Hellishly Hot. If anyone wants it, PM me.
