changing the map without a dyno on pc3?

i have a bogging issue down low on my bike. i was thinking of richening up the mix on the 1500 rpm range back to all zero's to see if that will help? would you guys suggest this? by the way the symptom is i feel like i have something in tow when i first take off then it goes away after i hit like 2k rpms. and the map i am useing is really leaning out the mix in this range...

any ideas?

Re: changing the map without a dyno on pc3?

How is it up til 3.5k rpms? At 3.5 the HTEV moves. Maybe it's not lined up right in the lower range or something along that line. You could try zeros. I did a zero map the other day to make sure I was still getting my money's worth out of the PC3. Definite improvement when I reloaded the normal map I run.

Re: changing the map without a dyno on pc3?

the htev is gone (full exhaust). and the problem is only at 1500rpm.. once the bike goes over 2000 rpm every thing is normal and fast!! it is just at exactly 1500rpm that the bike boggs like i have something in tow then it's like normal....

Re: changing the map without a dyno on pc3?

Usually, it will be very rich down there without the htev etc. But just try it. easiest to start with, just add two clicks on the "low" setting on the pc itself. If it's better, set it back to standard and add some more fuel in the map itself. But how many points has it leaned out in the map there? I've seen up to -28 etc down there so don't be surprised.

27 points at 5-6? Geesh. It ain't a custom map huh?
It obviously needed it for A bike, but I don't see that sort of mapping on blades.
