Upper Vibration

My mirrors, and I think my windshield, vibrate pretty bad. I can't tell what type of vehicle is behind me 1/2 of the time. Has anyone thought of putting a rubber spacer between the mirror and the bracket? I'm thinking this would reduce the vibration. My windshield makes a "vvvvvv" sound some times, I haven't narrowed it down to the cause (speed, acceleration..etc). I was thinking of putting on a Zero Gravity screen anyways, maybe that would stop it. Again...anyone else?

Update: just saw https://www.fireblades.org/forums/showthread.php?t=11147 about the windscreen, gonna give that a whirl.
