Crooked Pipes??

Has any one else noticed that the majority of 1000RR aftermarket exhaust cans are crooked in the pics??? Is this a design problem or install?

The 600RR's dont seem to have this problem.

Re: Crooked Pipes??

The Arata muffler is crooked because it's so long, and has to sit beside the battery compartment, but if you look at it closely, the outlet is on a slight angle from the body of the muffler too, to "straighten it up" a bit. Haven't seen the 1000RR system on it yet. Early next week.
Micron pipes aren't crooked (on 600RR)

Re: Crooked Pipes??

im not sure if i would be happy with the crooked pipe ....

if everyone knew that it was supposed to be that way then it would be ok, but most people are gonna think its messed up or put on wrong .....

i would get tired of explaining to people why its crooked
