Red light and FI?

I was driving my CBR 954 today and the red light came on and the letters FI, what does this mean?

Is the FI light flashing? Count the number of flashes and look up the error code.
FI Codes 1
FI Codes 2

Re: Red light and FI?

I checked it again and it flashes 3x1.3= 30 + 5 blinks equals 35. In the FI codes that Red Rider sent it said that it is a faulty EGCV and air intake valve servo motor.

What I was wondering is it all right to drive it like this and how do I fix it.

Re: Red light and FI?

The most common reason for that happening if you're just riding along, is a small rock or pebble getting lodged in the HTEV valve on the exhaust, that stops it from moving. It can eventually burn up the servo. Take the cover off the HTEV and see if a rock is in there.

There's a shiny cover on it that comes off with a few bolts. Check under there. (It's where the cables connect.)

Re: Red light and FI?

ConqSoft, I took apart the HTEV cover and a rock fell out.
