Exhaust - Two Brothers Carbon Questions

Just got a Two Bros Carbon exhaust but it sounds like a moped (well not really but I would like it to be louder). Is there a way to increase the sound and make it louder? Would a K&N air filter make it louder or is there something I could remove from the exhaust to make it louder? If not, what exhaust out there is great on sound and power? I like 'er loud. Oh and another question, anyone out there know what brands make the undertail exhaust for a '01 CBR 929RR? Any brands or links would be great. Thanks

Re: Exhaust - Two Brothers Carbon Questions

BOS Exhaust makes an underseat system I don't know anyone with one though.

As far as making the Two Bro's louder...... you're on you own. I've "heard" of cat taking ing some of the packing out of the can to make it louder but I never thought about trying it. you're on your own...

BlaZin, if you like loud, if you really like loud, take richs929 up on his offer. If it's loud you like, D&D will NOT let you down!

I have a 2 Bro's C4 XMetal Carbon, it's pretty quiet too. I was thinking of selling it on ebay and getting a Devil or Hindle.

Re: Exhaust - Two Brothers Carbon Questions

yeah i have the same exhaust as you, it looks good but not as loud as i thought. **about that d&d, its aluminum eh? do you have a picture of it? i am not a fan of severely shiny exhausts. hmm ill have to think about it. the two bros carbon c-4 is more money than the d&d.

also: anyone know if someone makes a product to get rid of those nasty bolts that stick out on the sides of the rear cowl? im talking about the ones that turn withe the flip of the passenger seat for the glove box????? just wondering; me no likey.

Re: Exhaust - Two Brothers Carbon Questions

If you want a nice sounding louder pipe, take the Two Bros. back and buy a Micron.

Re: Exhaust - Two Brothers Carbon Questions

I had a Two-Bros can on my 929 before getting a full Hindle. The Two-Bros sounded much better in my opinion and I didn't notice a difference in DB level. Most people here say the Two Bros is a loud pipe though. I got tons of compliments from other riders when I had it on my bike. Two-Bros has a smooth, deep note to it that really screams once you're near the red-line.

As the can breaks in, it will get louder. That could be a good or bad thing I suppose.

They are just screws...take em off and just go to the hardware store and find someting shorter with the same thread pattern the isn't gonna rust or just take 'em off... it's not gonna hurt anything. i don't think J/K
mine have been in my tool box since i got my bike.

Wolf makes an underseat for the 929. I had one on my VFR800 and the thing friggin' howled!

I hated my wolf exhaust, it sounded like a two stroke. Beside the owner is a real dick.
