Might require a diet, if you catch my drift...

Re: Just weighed my 1000RR

I should take my bike to work and put it on the scale there and see what I get (its a scale used to weigh stuff before it goes on a tractor trailer so the trailer won't be over its weight limit)

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Re: Just weighed my 1000RR

I think so.
But I could ride a 300 lb bike and not be any faster.

seems about right for the claimed dry weight plus fluids, remember it is the heaviest of the literbikes

Re: Just weighed my 1000RR

Seems right, a stock 929 is around 425 IIRC and we know the 1000 gained some weight.

Re: Just weighed my 1000RR

It's all academic, I raced a '96 F3 that weighed 463 wet. That was the hot 600 at the time. Weight's great for bragging rights though. I weigh 175, someone who weighs 140 on the same bike will be faster in a straight line.

Re: Just weighed my 1000RR

Macman just out of curiosity how can you have a slip-on and the stock exhaust on the 954 at the same time

Re: Just weighed my 1000RR

Lucky, when you say "full system," do you mean OEM, or aftermarket?
