Past and pesent 929 owners

929 owners what rpm is your idle set at? Mine 01 ER 929 idle is set at 1500rpm's is that to high? I'm running a ER full system with a custom map.

any info would be appreciated

Mine was at 1250, but I bumped it up to 1500.

mines about 1100 just to make the neutral to 1st clunk a little less dramatic .... 1250 is probably ideal

1100 is OE, but I'm set at 1500 for easy takeoff (minimum throttle grip movement).

Factory manual says 1200 rpm +/- 100

I actually missed this at first as I thought you were stating 1100, not Stegen's 11,000 RPM idle setting. This may never die.
