Re: Finally installed my PCIII

....and I'm kicking myself for not doing it sooner. What a difference, even with the base map. Soooooooo much smoother!!!

Re: Finally installed my PCIII

0 map. I still have the stock exhaust, not sure if I'm gonna end up replacing it or not. Probably will if I get a substantial raise w/ the new job, but other then that I'm gonna hold out 'til next season more then likely

Re: Finally installed my PCIII

That's a long time. A friend of mine had a 954, wrecked it. Got his map from him. Messed around with it a little. Liked it. I'm averaging 140 -150 miles per tank of gas (commuting). Where before it was 110-120.

BBBBBBBWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO You aren't kidding! Same here. Spent more time trying to get my big ass fingers and hands to where I could reach the friggin plug. That and they leave about 1' worth of loose wire to move the plug around. I have never felt that helpless in my life (well probably when I was born but that's a different story) Almost had to have the wife get her hands in there. It's easily a 3-4 beer project.

Re: Finally installed my PCIII

I just lifted the tank. I wasn't too excited about smashing my fingers, or getting them stuck anywhere

Re: Finally installed my PCIII

I had to get in there with a little screw driver to get the plugs to release. Well, that didn't work real well. I think I still have the scar to prove it. Not much room in there.

Must be working on your imagination, cause the zero map changes absolutely nothing, but probably adds another 1/4 pound to the bike due to the weight of the power commander

Do unto others, before some prick does it to you!
