Pegs....

So I just broke my right side peg off *don't ask*

Where can I pick up a good pair of pegs? I don't need new rear sets (waste of my money) just pegs. Are most interchangeable? Are they model specific?

Adjustable is good!

Bikes and women - both have nice curves.

I won't ask but I bet it has something to do with that wheelie (in your avatar) only being at about 10:00

Re: Pegs....

I have the LP Superpole V-360 Milled Pegs. I like them a lot. They are adjustable some what (enough for my needs). What I like most is that they are not rubber coated.
Installation was more than I thought. When I put them on and snugged them up to spec the shifter lever would hardly move. I removed the little washer and greased the shifter up and so far so good (2000 miles).

The best part is that I got them for $10 off of ebay.

I got rid of my stock pegs for non coated ones as well. The metal grips the boot better then the rubber and I find it a little easier to move my foot around when I want to.

Doooooh!!! I TOLD YOU NOT TO ASK!!!

I would think the stock rubber pegs would somewhat reduce vibrations versus solid pegs (no rubber).

What TGZ13 said it grips the boot better, especially when wet.

Re: Pegs....

I had the 360 pegs on my R6 and thought they were crap... No matter how much I tightened them or how much lock tite I put on them, they would not stay in the full up position... The base would always eventually work its way around.... I ended up tossing them and spending the $$ for actual rear sets...

My suggestion is if you are not dragging pegs w/ the stock setup, that you buy standard mount racing pegs... If you are having clearence issues (as I was), then spend the extra $$ and buy some rear sets... I bought the woodcraft as they are high quality and very affordable...
