Shift Light?

Does anyone use a shiftlight on their 954. I just bought a Auto Meter Quicklite and I am looking for anyone who has installed one on a 954. The directions from Auto Meter are vague. It says to tap into the Tach wire at the gauges or at the ECM. I want to use the ECM route, but have no clue as to what color that wire is on the 954. The manual doesn't specifically say. Anyone have experience with this?

you have to buy a $30.00 wire that goes from the negative wires on your spark plug coils you can get them from schnitzracing.com
