If you do a search you will find loads of info. Unlike most sites the search feature here actually works.

Also to the .org

Do you have any specific questions about the bike? There might be better bikes under certain circumstances or for a particular rider, but I love my 929.

Re: Researching 00-01 929RR

Hey, you can't go wrong with a 929, they run strong, last for ever, handle/stop well and have a great sound when you get the right pipe on them. They are pretty comfy compared to just about every other liter bike (other than maybe a zx-9) I had mine for 50,000 kms and could not find anything I did not like about it(other than the fact it wasn't a 1000RR)

Re: Researching 00-01 929RR

Thanx guys! I will do some searching on site and thanx for the links. This is not my first bike but I have only ridden 600s before now. I am also looking at 600RRs. I have owned FZR600 and CBR600F4.

Check out the "Trunk Capacity of 929" thread as there's some good 929 reviews as well.

Re: Researching 00-01 929RR

I love my 01' 929 I owned a F2, F4, and a Yamaha R1. I got the 929 in Feb with 1200miles!! Awesome bike. With a Scotts damper the bike is unstopable. The only thing wrong with it was that they stop making them ;-) I don't want to give it up but it does make a nice down payment for a CBR 1000!!
