All black 954RR

I had nothing to do yesterday because of the mayhem that the Hurricane Charley brought to my region. I could not ride because it rained all weekend long. I decided to clean my bike. As I was cleaning it, I was wondering how the bike would look if it were all gloss black? I have a Ti/Bk color scheme right now. There is not that much that would have to be painted. Has anyone done this to there bike or have seen one done before?

My wife says she hates the Ti color on the bike. She thinks that all black would look a whole lot better. Let me know what you guys/gals think.

Re: All black 954RR

I think the all black would look pretty cool if you put a few decals on it.

Although I really like the Ti/Black

Re: All black 954RR

I'm sure it would look great, but would it be visible on the road to those inattentive car drivers? Even with lights on?

Re: All black 954RR

I would have all of the factory decals back on it but I do not know what color they would be. I really like the look of the 04 1k in all black. I guess I would be going for that look.

It is just a thought I had.

The all black 1krr is sweet. Thats kind of what I was getting at with the decals. You don't want to many but you do need a few

Re: All black 954RR

I had the 03 Ti/Blk scheme. I have peeled all the stickers off the sidepanels, bought a black tank off ebay, and installed a black upper front fairing. Everything is black but my tailsection and cowl.

I think it looks much better, but that is due in part to having two other friends with the exact same bike. Now my bike looks different.

Here are some not-so-good pics. I'll try to get some better ones today.

you can't put all the factor decals back that would take away from the look

Now that is what I think I was going for. Add a black tail section and your there. Like I stated, I would place the decal back on but do not know the color of the decals. I think all black looks good.

Thanks for the pics.

That would be the end of my life if I even mentioned that. Just yesterday, I received an earfull about "Do you know what I could have bought with the money you have spent on that f*****g toy out in the garage!!!" I did not say a word. I just tucked my tail between my legs and walked out of the room..... Then I went into the garage and cleaned and waxed the bike.... That will teach her to talk bad about my precious Blade.........

BDA's picture is sweet. An all black bike is where I want to go.

Thanks for the opinions.....
