Re: servo motor help

Is the FI light blinking or just lite? If it's blinking count the blinks and we can give you help on that. The blinks would indicate an error code.

Re: servo motor help

Mine was doing the same thing at Grattan, the red light would come on with the 'FI' in the LCD area. It wouldn't do it every session and it hasn't done it since then, street riding. The 1st time it came on scared the crap out of me, I couldn't see the 'FI', just the red warning light, cause the speedo was taped over. I thought it was the oil warning! Any ideas?
Edit: No blinks, light just stays on. Bike runs normally.

Cool, its 35 blinks meaning the servo is kaput, the HISS is of aswell and FI stays on after about 3000RPM,if I cick down the sidestand it gives me the 35 blinks,if I,m riding the red light stays lit, tried adjusting servo motor but it was in the correct position, the exaust valve is also in the correct position.maybe the servo has gone,i dont know.thank you for the help so far.i live in south africa and the mechanick at my local honda dealer does not know what a servo motor is.

Re: servo motor help

Have u opened up the cover for the servo at the exhaust to see if theres any debris eg rocks, in there which could be stopping the servo from turning?
