Question: 954 vs. 929 Front Master Cylinder

Is there a difference between the 954 and 929 front master cylinder? Does anyone know?

I wrecked a few weeks back on the track and am looking at a pretty good deal on a 954 front master cylinder assembly (with brake lever). Can I put this on my 929 without trouble?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Yes it will fit, there was no change in the brakes from the 929 to the 954

I'm pretty sure the master cylinders were different...Probaly bore size.

They are different. The 954's has a bigger piston, I believe, but it'll fit. I find the 954's brakes to be better than the 929's, so you should notice a nice improvement using the 954 master cylinder.
