Dyno #'s

I noticed in the Hindle/Micron thread that one of the members had 149.3 and another 152... I know no two bikes will ever get the same numbers and it varies from dyno to dyno and town to town but there is a general area..

what sort of numbers are the 954cc engines making?
can i get some wheel numbers? if you know what your bike makes, please post.

i'll get the ball rolling...

My fireblade makes 140.8 at the rear wheel...

Look, Lean, Believe..

Re: Dyno #'s

The majority of 954's dyno 130-135hp at the wheel....depending on dyno, etc.

Mine has hit 135 and 132 stock on different dynos, different days.

Re: Dyno #'s

stock was 128 & change. Arata w/ DKs map, pc3r 140....had a flat spot around 6k. remapped with vp u4 gas added another 2.5 hp up top and he got me 3-4 hp in the mid range! 520 kit applied -1 up front +2 on the rear. left me at 142.5 at the wheel. on a dynojet 250. I've seen higher numbers from different bikes on different dynos. ..but my bike runs smooth and pulls hard...not a like a gixxer1k but much stronger than stock.

My tuner is in nashville: www.tntperformancedyno.com Tell Conrad Donald sent you and you might get a discount. He site looks like he just does hardleys but trust me he can tune anything!

174.4 with 105 octane. Still a 954 but most parts are new, and way too fast for me but I'm improving every time out.

I bought a Superbike spec motor from Annandale racing. It was brand new and the only thing stock is the block according to my mechanic. It came with a trans as well and that is really my favorite part of the bike. It has:
HRC crank(sent to Fallicon), bearings, flywheel, generator, radiator
Carillo Ti rods
Erion pistons, cams
Ferrea valves
Headwork

The motor requires almost no mapping, it was very linear out of the box.

on my last trip back to Canada, I visited a local garage that had a 954 competing in the 2003/2004 season and the 2004 motor was making power into the 170's, not sure what he was running but if you're interested in speaking to the owner of the bike (whom is selling the 954), his website is http://www.cherrypickerracing.com/contact.asp his name is John Brundl.

Re: Dyno #'s

My 929 makes 146 actual with a full Arata and custom mapped PowerCommander. I unfortunately don't know what it did stock. I think the SAE corrrected hp was about 138. Don't know why there's such a big difference between actual and SAE.

Re: Dyno #'s

gees that 146 sounds like a bit much to me. Especially with just a system and powercommander. but ranges from place to place
