I'm looking to buy a CBR900RR, but my only concern is that the seat is too high for me. I don't know if I would be able to even tip toe it, and I still didn't ride it. I had to drop my FZR600 3 inches, for me to be able to tip toe it. The seat height on my FZR600 was 30.9", and after the drop, it was 27.9". The CBR900RR has a 31.9" seat height, can I drop it 5", I want a better feeling than my FZR600. I see lowering dog bones, but for only 1" and 3".
Are there any downsides to lowering the rear?
Will that mess up the suspension geometery?
If so, what will it do? How will the bike feel?
Will I still be able to corner properly?
How else can I lower the bike besides new dogbones, and shaving the seat?
How much of the seat can I shave off?
Will an extended swing arm, increase or lower the height of the bike?
