Power commander check

Recently my bike would not start. Despite the battery being charged up. I then removed the power commander and it still would not start. Finally disconnected the battery recharged everything and hey presto it kicked up. The lights on the pc all check and function i.e. go up and down.

Does this mean that the pc is buggered. I don't want to piss about loading the pc back on to see if it works or not (as I also have to remove the damper) - so any suggestions?

thanks

sam

Re: Power commander check

Rarely, when the battery is removed, or goes dead, the PowerCommander loses its map. It shouldn't happen, but occasionally it does. If you haven't already, reload the map, and you should be fine. It may never happen again.

Re: Power commander check

If the bike still didn't start without the pc, it ain't the pc. So I'd reconnect it and see how you go.
