graphics removal

I'm thinking about removing the large "RR" graphics from my 954's fairing. The bike was manufactured in 03/2002, so the adhesive has had almost three years to bond with the underlying paint. Is it possible to remove the graphics without damaging the paint?

Thanks.

Bob

Re: graphics removal

Slowly pull then use goo-gone.

If it seems stubborn use a hair drier to heat the glue & ut should come right off

Re: graphics removal

Depends on how much it's been out in the sun I guess.... If any of the paint around it has faded, you'll be able to notice....

Re: graphics removal

FWIW, I took the yellow decal off the front of my 929 a couple months ago and it looked fine underneath. No fading or anything like that...just some Honda Polish to shine it up

most definately did require patience as well for when I did my F4i
however, I now have a heat gun and that makes the job much simpler.
