the deed is done

I just got my e-mail confirmation about my braided brake and clutch lines they should be here in under 2 weeks, I cant wait to get them so I can look at them until it is warm enough to put them on. Just thought that I would share.

where you get them from? I placed my order for them from Cal-sportbike. went with the red ss lines and HH front pads and motul 5.1 fluid. and I also sprung for the rear line and pads. $190, can't go wrong. just over $30 off.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Re: the deed is done

Why would you buy a braided line for the clutch? Is this purely a cosmetic mod or are there temperature/pressure issues on the 1000rr clutch that makes this a sensible mod?

Not trying to spoil the fun for you, just curious... I love getting new toys for my bike in the mail as well, cost efficient or not

It does increase clutch/lever action with a S/S line, especially with some Motul 5.1 in there. Now the rear brake S/S line, is a total waste

If you can get all 3 Galfer lines for $155 or so its still worth it $$ wise

That is exactly why I did it...I have not heard of any problem with the clutch line, but if it has anywere near the same effect as the braided lines do, I will be more than happy. I did not order the pads as I can get them here for cheaper and then I dont have to pay to have them shipped either.

I dont use ther rear brake much, but it does look much better than the stock, I know, I know if it doesn't make you faster why bother...well I like the looks of it, if that makes me a squid so be it.

I ended up getting the clear SS lines, I cant wait.
