So, how loud is a D&D?

I bought one for my 954. I have never heard one but have read that they are annoyingly loud. I hope they are not to bad. I got a used one for $50 so I couldnt pass it up.

Re: So, how loud is a D&D?

lets just say that you cant sneak up to the girl friends house with that thing... annoyingly loud is an understatement.

you can get away with it in the bigger cities but doubt it in the rural country.

Loud on the first day you install it.

Then every day it gets louder as the packing blows out.

I dont think loud even begines to describe a D&D wear ear plugs. 2 sets, and a realy realy quiet helmet and you might begin to imagine hearing again..

Re: So, how loud is a D&D?

I wanted a two brothers but with christmas and buying the bike I dont have the cash. If it wasnt $50 I wouldnt have got it. I can not stand the stock exhaust. Its way to quite. If its too loud it will be temporary. I can always put it on ebay. Already had someone offer me $75 for it. It should be here in a few days.

Re: So, how loud is a D&D?

its not even that they're really loud, they sound like complete ass too. I heard one on a 929 at a stunt show/carshow/burnout show thing and I wanted to jump down there and punch the guy cause it was the most annoying thing I have ever heard. Those stupid things are the definition of annoyingly aggravating. Take the $75 while its on the table and keep an eye on ebay for something else.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

They are so loud that anyone you ride with will have to watch their tach, because they will not be able to hear the engine. It's also loud enough to get every cops attention for several miles in every direction.
