cbr 954 rr frame slider lentgh

What is a good lentgh for a frame slider on my cbr 954 rr, I have seen 3.75, 4.75 and 5.75. I want the protection but not to the point where it sticks out to far.

haven't tested my intuitives yet but others here that have tested theirs say they work great. They are pretty short but they look good and apprently do the job so you can't go wrong.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.

Re: cbr 954 rr frame slider lentgh

Thank you, I have been watching some of the postings and have already seen a lot of good info from this sight already, I have just aquired my 03 954 and it is all stock (except for the fender elminator) I thought I would try adding frame sliders I am looking at black for the color.

Re: cbr 954 rr frame slider lentgh

Ok, now I am really confused, it would help to know what is the most common size that these run, I have been looking on the web sites and I can not find any sizes, any ideas what a standard size runs?

Each manufacturer runs different sizes. After "testing" my LP Carbon Wrap's, which held up really well, though on the shorter side. In retrospect, I would have rather went with longer "soft" versions like Intuitive's.

Contact the mfr.'s or dealers by phone for actual lengths.

You can't really go wrong with putting sliders on vs. not having any.
