Re: California or European blade?

If you have HISS it's not an American market bike - California or 49 state.
If your bike does not have HISS and has an oxygen sensor, it's a California market bike.

Re: California or European blade?

Just to add to the confusion, German bikes have HISS and the Oxygen sensor!

Re: California or European blade?

I guess my is the European model then.

I recently got a pc3 from a friend also riding a 929, there were a total of 4 connectors(2 big gray connector n 2 small red ones) plus a ground wire, a check with another friend of mine and I noticed his only has the 2 gray connectors and the ground wire.

Any one can tell me whats going on??

Re: California or European blade?

ONe was a PCIII R and one is a PCIII - one has ignition timing - (red plug) and the other doesnt.

Re: California or European blade?

Well - the R has ignition timing which on mine was a red plug that went in the stator signal to the ECU - although on my mates bike its power....

To be honest Im not 100% on it, but I did think the red was ignition.... Your software will let you know what it is - mine doesnt say R on it either but it has ignition timing....
