OEM PC maps no good for Aussie fuel? - pinging Sook
I've been referred to a Dynojet shop who recently opened for business in Canberra. He asked me what map I was using. I told him I've tried a number including some that came on the Dynojet CD and some from the Dynojet site and I'm using one from a German bike with a Micron slip on which gives the best seat of the pants results so far. He said to be careful because the OEM maps and most US and Euro maps weren't suitable for Australian fuel and tended to lean out the mix excessively in places. Any thought on this?
Anyway I've been meaning to get the bike mapped since I got the PC but getting it to the Sook in Sydney for a day hasn't been possible so I've booked in next week with this bloke.
I'd like to die peacefully in my sleep like my grandpa
not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car.
