New engine

Well after blowing up my 954 engine, I tried finding one the internet with no avail.

Then I looked into rebuilding it, since the crank, pistons and cylider 1 connecting rod, bearings, rings, oil pump, gaskets hours of work ect it was way to expensive.4000$ can

Then a member here New954Rrider sold me his engine with 63 miles on it but a cracked / chiped crankcase, today I spend 300$ getting a part machined then welded on the crankcase, it is fixed, no leaks wow! 1700$

The engine is now installed on the frame, the swingarm is on the engine and at noon tomorrow, I should be riding again!!!!!

Feels good

Re: New engine

I hope that things go well for you because it sucks having to sit through any part of riding season. Best of luck with the rest of the install

Re: New engine

Good news to hear. At least you weren't out of commission too long. I know a few guys who's bikes are still sitting in pieces from enigine issues they haven't addressed.
