Hey Nedro, Its shithouse .... if there is ONE thing in Aus , its that people dont understand the concept of mass sales, rather than making a killing off a couple dozen . Honda or anyone for that matter would love to sell you a book for 300bux, and ignore the fact that if it cost 30bux, possibly 20 people would buy it compared to yourself only at that given time. Its stupid .
Having said that tho ... like i said before if its a Aus specific 929 manual like a couple other bike and all car manuals are, its a MUCH smaller market, hence the prints in Japan cost a lot more. Volume of buy in ... but hey i cant say if they are or not.
EDIT : And this is the cheaper parts. Between the US dollar in USA and Aus dollar in Aus value in thier own land .... is minimal. We pay $6.00aud for a Big Mac meal, you guys pay $5.50usd for a Big Mac meal there... same with other things, deourdorant, toothpaste and such things, all a tad cheaper in the US, but when comparing the val;ue of the dollar in each country its allmost 1:1. Till you get to bikes and cars. Can you imagine paying $18,500usd for a CBR1000 or $22,000usd for a RC51 like i did here ? .... probably not, but we have no choice. Asshole govt taxing policies.
Could allways be worse .... a new Toyota Camry with the smallest 2.0L N/A 4cyl in Singapore costs $127,000sd or $77,250usd !!
