Can I ride this weekend?

Ok here it goes,

After the blown engine and the transplant, I am ready to ride again.

Tonight, verifying everything I notice that one of my fork is leaking

Can I ride anyway? Anybody hear of a seal going nuts and all the fork oil going on the tires brakes and shiat?

Thanks

Re: Can I ride this weekend?

I wouldn't. It makes a mess. I guess it depends on how bad it's leaking.
When you get the forks torn down to replace the seals you may as well get new springs and get the valves rebored and reshimmed. And get the forks tubes polished. Probably a bit tough after your recent expenses but it makes a hell of a difference. Or have you already had them done?

Hell are you having a bad run or what.
You'd have to be gagging for a ride by now,but if it were me I probably wouldn't just in case.
It'd be a cryin shame if anything else were to happen.

Re: Can I ride this weekend?

If it would not be for bad luck you would have no luck at all.

You sure you don't own a harley, with all the problems and all.

Sorry dude.

It's amazing how stupid some people can be.

Re: Can I ride this weekend?

Yes I did the springs and oil over the winter, didn't touch the valves.

I will get some new seals today and try and fix the one side that is leaking in order to ride this weekend.

Re: Can I ride this weekend?

I always say that I have such bad luck that if I tried to play the lottery I'd find a way to owe them money rather than winning money.

That sucks. Don't ride it. oil+tire+brakes=trip to the ground.

if you can't convince them, confuse them.
