Help on rear suspension rebound adjuster. (Broken?)

I was reading the manual getting used to the suspension settings and the terminoligy. Got the front figured out (I think?). Went to the rear and set the pre-load ok. Now here is where IFU.The rebound adjuster (bottom of shock)was really hard to turn either way CW or CCW. I then had the bright idea that it would turn and applied apparently too much pressure. The adjuster now turnf freely but does not stop turning and has a movement that it did not have before of in and out.

My question now is:

Could this be warranty?

Is the whole shock trash or can it be fixed?

If it cannot be fixed, does anyone have one FS?

It's amazing how stupid some people can be.

Re: Help on rear suspension rebound adjuster. (Broken?)

You Can get them on ebay for about $15us which would be cheaper than having it repaired. I bought a spare shock off ebay so I can have a go at relvalving it myself without having too much down time
