Need quick help...header install question????

I'm re-installing the stock header and mid-pipe on my 01 929. Question....I bought the bike with a full system already on it. When I put the stock header back on are there any rubber gaskets that I need to put on for the stock headers to fit right? It seems that the ports on the head are slightly bigger than the header pipes. Is this supposed to be that way or should the headers fit snug on thier own??????

There should be gaskets in there. I don't remember if they're rubber or something else. Actually, they should have been left in place when the full system was installed.

Re: Need quick help...header install question????

There should be one copper crush gasket per port. They look like metal orings.

Can you say 6 in a ROW!!!!
