Racing seat for a 929???

Guru's of knowledge...does anyone make a racing seat for a 929?...I changed my battery the other day...afterwards, I was wheeling my bike around without the seat and really like the lowered position rather than the stock...I'm not sure if taking the padding out of the stock seat would give the same result. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

There's padding in the stock seat?

You could just cut a piece of plywood to fit and bolt it down and not notice much difference between it and the stock seat!

Re: Racing seat for a 929???

Buy an aftermarket tail section. Some come with a thin piece of foam padding that they call a seat.

I would think you could make it yourself. The few race bike I've seen in person seem to have the same material used for those rubber mouse pads. If you find such material and in thick enough sheets, you could easily cut to shape and wrap around the shell of the stock seat.
