woodcraft rearset brake lever question

i was wondering if anyone else had any problems with the brake lever? Im using the stock lever and with the rearsets on it seems impossibly high, and i have adjusted it as low as it will go. i have to almost lift my foot off of the peg to get it on the lever. i was wondering if the anyone else had this problem and if using the woodcraft lever cured this.

thanks in advance

Re: woodcraft rearset brake lever question

I had EXACTLY the same problem with mine! I talked to Eric Wood 2 or 3 times about it and he finally swapped me a 929 right side rearset(with a 929 footpeg-they're different-smaller diameter than 954) for the 954 I had. This was better, but my rear brake lever is still a little on the high side(with the Woodcraft lever) and I had to shim the M/C bracket out a little bit with washers so the M/C plunger (or rod, whatever you call it) would line up with the lever. He said he's never had any complaints from other 954 customers
so I don't know what the deal is?
