HESD question

I was just thinking about the HESD and gearing changes...I have changed the gearing on my bike to 15 teeth on the front, this in turn throw off my speedometer by about 6%-8% right? does this mean that my HESD will be at a higher damping rate than if I had the stock gearing? or does it work another way?

I have a speedo healer coming shortly to correct the speedometer, but I just thought that I would throw this out there and see what the general opinion was
